Biography

I was born and raised in Central Wisconsin, just outside of Stevens Point. I am currently living in a two-room cabin where I work as a professional artist, creating portraits, still lifes, letterpress and animal-based artwork. I use a combination of materials in my work such as graphite, charcoal, conte crayon, and ink, mixing powdered graphite, alcohols, and teas to stain the paper prior to drawing.

My work combining charcoal and letterpress has received a great deal of attention, winning awards nationwide and being accepted into a number of permanent art collections. The Shy Rabbit Contemporary Art Center, Scarabocchio Art Museum and Gallery Q Artist Cooperative are all currently hanging and representing my artwork.
